Antti Pinomaa

Biography

Antti Pinomaa is Associate Professor at LUT University's School of Energy Systems. His research covers smart grids, DC distribution and microgrid systems, including off-grid applications, as well as information and communication technologies such as 4G and 5G networks. His work also applies deep-learning methods to fault detection and diagnostics in power systems. He holds a D.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Lappeenranta University of Technology. Within the initiative, he contributes to research on AI-driven innovation and the social impact of AI.
